Canadian Vlogger Impressed by China’s Modernization During Guangzhou Visit

Canadian vlogger Alina Mcleod recently embarked on a solo journey to Guangzhou, experiencing firsthand the remarkable modernization of China. Taking advantage of the 144-hour visa-free transit policy, she was pleasantly surprised by how China’s advancements exceeded her expectations.

“From the moment I landed, the efficient transportation system made navigating the city a breeze,” Alina shared. “The high-speed trains and metro connected every part of the city seamlessly.”

She was particularly impressed by the widespread use of digital payment methods. “I hardly needed cash; everything from street vendors to shopping malls accepted mobile payments,” she noted, highlighting the convenience of China’s cashless society.

Beyond the urban landscape, Alina explored China’s natural beauty and cultural diversity. Visiting scenic spots and encountering the country’s beloved pandas, she gained a deeper appreciation for China’s rich heritage and biodiversity.

“China is a blend of the ancient and the ultra-modern,” Alina remarked. “The modern shopping malls stand alongside historical sites, offering a unique travel experience.”

Inspired by her journey, Alina aims to share her experiences through her vlog, encouraging others to explore China. “I hope to return soon and discover more of what this incredible country has to offer,” she said.
