The 15th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between China and Vietnam marks a significant milestone in the relationship between the two neighboring countries. Celebrating this occasion, China’s Nanning City and Vietnam’s Bac Ninh City have strengthened their ties by establishing sister-city relations in December 2022.
Since the formation of this sister-city bond, exchanges between Nanning and Bac Ninh have intensified, fostering cooperation across various domains such as culture, industry, transportation, economy and trade, and logistics. These collaborative efforts have enriched the lives of residents in both cities.
“The exchanges between the two cities in fields like transportation, economy and trade, culture, and logistics have truly benefited the people,” shared a resident of Nanning. Echoing this sentiment, a resident of Bac Ninh expressed optimism: “China is very advanced in industrial technology and IT. We hope Vietnam can also vigorously develop these fields like China.”
The deepening interactions not only enhance mutual understanding but also open up new avenues for development and innovation. As Nanning and Bac Ninh continue to collaborate, there is anticipation for further advancements that will contribute to the prosperity of both cities.
