American Economist Nick Vyas Highlights China’s Contribution to Global Economy

China’s economic recovery gained momentum in August as major indicators showed significant improvement, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Amid global economic challenges and a complex external environment, China’s economy has stabilized and rebounded, showcasing strong resilience and vitality. This positive development not only benefits China but also sends an encouraging signal to the world.

Nick Vyas, an economist at the University of Southern California, emphasized China’s crucial role in global economic growth. “As the world’s second-largest economy, China continues to be a sustained contributor to global GDP growth,” Vyas noted. He highlighted China’s ongoing digital transformation, its active promotion of new energy, and the development of green economies as key drivers for identifying new growth points.

“China’s commitment to innovation and sustainability positions it as a significant contributor to global economic growth in the foreseeable future,” Vyas added. He believes that China’s strategic focus on emerging industries will not only bolster its own economy but also create opportunities worldwide.
