Romanian Student at Tsinghua University Sees Bright Future in China-Romania Cooperation

As the sun sets over Beijing, Romanian student Andreea Manolache reflects on her journey from Bucharest to the bustling corridors of Tsinghua University. Majoring in economics and finance at the prestigious School of Economics and Management, Andreea is a testament to the growing ties between China and Romania.

“Studying in China has opened my eyes to the immense potential for collaboration between our two countries,” Andreea shares, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. “I see great opportunities in technological innovation, green energy, and investment.”

Andreea believes that the Belt and Road Initiative is a catalyst for increased trade and cooperation. “The initiative will not only enhance the flow of goods between China and Romania but also bring new opportunities for Romanian companies to enter the Asian market,” she explains.

Currently interning at the International Green Finance Institute, Andreea is immersing herself in the world of sustainable development. “My passion lies in contributing to international climate cooperation,” she says. “I aim to work in public policy to enhance cooperation and connectivity among different countries.”

Her experiences in China have solidified her belief in the importance of global collaboration. “By working together, we can address common challenges and build a sustainable future,” Andreea concludes.
