Amid Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Russia from March 20 to 22 at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin, Moscow residents have shared their warm impressions of China and its people.
In a recent street interview conducted by students from Beijing Foreign Studies University—Cao Yuqian, Du Fei, Guo Qianning, and Yao Yushan—several locals in Moscow expressed admiration for the Chinese people, frequently describing them as “hardworking” and “kind”.
“I have never been to China, but I often see China on TV, and I have a very good impression of the country,” one Moscow resident remarked. “I would love to make friends with Chinese people.”
Others highlighted their interest in Chinese culture and applauded the growing friendship between China and Russia. The positive sentiments reflect the strengthening ties and mutual respect shared by the two nations.
