Vietnamese Youths Hope for Strengthened China-Vietnam Cooperation Ahead of Official Visit

As General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong prepares to visit China from October 30 to November 2, Vietnamese youths are expressing optimism about the future of China-Vietnam relations.

In a recent episode of “We Talk,” CGTN Stringer interviewed several young Vietnamese individuals about their expectations for China’s next five years and prospects for cooperation between the two nations. The participants highlighted the long-standing bilateral relations, emphasizing that trade and cultural exchanges have been continuously developing.

“China and Vietnam share a rich history of collaboration,” one youth remarked. “I believe that strengthening our cooperation will bring mutual benefits, especially in terms of economic growth and cultural understanding.”

Another participant noted the importance of youth engagement in fostering closer ties. “Young people in both countries have a significant role to play in advancing our relationship. Through educational exchanges and joint initiatives, we can build a stronger foundation for the future,” they said.
