Beninese Interpreter Bridges Cultures After Studying in China

After five years of studying in China, Beninese native Luc Amouzoun has returned home with a mission to enhance his country’s development through cross-cultural collaboration.

This year, Amouzoun joined the construction team of a Chinese company operating in Benin as an interpreter. His role is pivotal in bridging communication gaps between Chinese project managers and local workers, facilitating smoother project execution.

“China has been a good friend to Benin,” Amouzoun remarked. “I hope to work hard with Chinese projects to give good visibility to Benin.”

Amouzoun’s experience in China not only enriched his language skills but also provided him with a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and business practices. He believes that this knowledge is invaluable in fostering stronger ties between the two countries.

As Benin continues to develop its infrastructure and economy, individuals like Amouzoun play a crucial role in ensuring that international partnerships are productive and mutually beneficial.
