China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec Group) held an online open day on Friday, highlighting its sustainable development initiatives in Saudi Arabia. The event showcased the company’s four-year 3D geophysical detection project, emphasizing technological advancements and collaborative efforts in the region.
During the event, Saudi employee Amer Al-Yousef provided a virtual tour of the Sinopec Middle East Research and Development Center. Supervisor Kanwal Zehra explained the daily operations of the research team and highlighted the innovative technologies being utilized to enhance petroleum exploration and production.
As one of Saudi Arabia’s largest partners in crude oil export, Sinopec has a longstanding history of providing engineering technologies, refining services, equipment, and materials to petroleum and petrochemical projects in the country.
