Egypt’s Iconic Tower: Africa’s Future Tallest Building Rises with China’s CSCEC

In the heart of Egypt’s new administrative capital, the Iconic Tower is steadily rising, poised to become Africa’s tallest building upon completion. Constructed by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), the skyscraper will stand at an impressive 385.8 meters, featuring 80 floors.

With 40 floors already completed, the Iconic Tower represents a significant milestone in Egypt’s ambitious plans to develop its new capital city. The tower will serve as a mixed-use facility, hosting offices, hotels, and residential units, contributing to the city’s vibrant skyline and economy.

The new administrative capital, located east of Cairo, aims to alleviate congestion in the current capital and establish a modern hub for government and business activities. The collaboration with CSCEC highlights the growing partnership between Egypt and China, showcasing CSCEC’s expertise in executing large-scale international projects.

As construction progresses, the Iconic Tower is set to become a landmark not only for Egypt but for the entire African continent, symbolizing progress and the potential for future developments in the region.
