As the world grapples with the coronavirus outbreak, expressions of solidarity cross borders and cultures. The Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union (LPRYU), a long-standing friend of the People’s Republic of China, has shown its support through the universal language of music.
A director-general from the LPRYU’s Central International Department composed a song alongside a volunteer from China. This musical collaboration conveys their support and best wishes to China during these challenging times.
“The time now is hard for China, but I do believe, if we work together, there is nothing we cannot overcome. The Laos Youth Union will always stand by your side,” he expressed.
This heartfelt gesture underscores the strong ties between Laos and China, highlighting the importance of unity and cooperation in overcoming global challenges.
