“I realized that Yandunjiao has so much to offer,” Yu explains. “It’s a place where traditions are still alive, and I wanted to create a space where visitors could truly experience that.”
Upon his return, Yu opened a homestay unlike any other. Far from the typical rural accommodations, his homestay is a harmonious blend of comfort and authenticity. Each piece of furniture is crafted from driftwood collected along the shore, embodying the rustic aesthetic of the village.
