UNESCO's World Heritage Director Lazare Eloundou Assomo presented case studies of augmented reality restoring ancient sites, while French filmmaker Jean-Jacques Annaud showcased AI-assisted cinematic restoration projects.
Beyond the main stage, six parallel forums will tackle specialized topics from blockchain in art authentication to holographic performance technologies. Evening cultural salons will feature hands-on demonstrations of 3D-printed replicas from the Forbidden City archives and AI-generated traditional Chinese landscape paintings.
The forum's programming reflects China's growing role in shaping global cultural-tech partnerships, with delegates from 38 countries and regions participating in this two-day exchange.
