Nestled beneath the crystal-blue skies of western Sichuan's Batang County, the Cuopu Valley recently became a stage for cultural celebration as local resident Tashi Lhamo led the global #XizangDanceTime challenge. Dressed in intricate traditional attire, Lhamo's spirited performance showcased Tibetan dance's flowing sleeves and rhythmic footwork against a backdrop of rolling grasslands and snow-capped peaks.
The initiative, organized in partnership with CGTN, aims to spotlight Tibet's living heritage through social media engagement. "Every movement tells our people's story – the joy, resilience, and connection to this land," Lhamo explained during the event, which has drawn participation from dance enthusiasts across Asia.
