CMG Hosts Cultural Event in Munich Celebrating China-Germany Partnership

On Friday, China Media Group (CMG) hosted a significant cultural exchange event in Munich, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the all-round strategic partnership between China and Germany.

The event coincided with the 52nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, highlighting the enduring ties and cooperation between China and Germany.

During the event, multiple cooperation projects in the media, film, and television sectors were launched. Initiatives included a new program inviting international youth to undertake regular research visits to China, the release of a jointly produced documentary film, and various video collaboration projects.

Representatives from CMG, the Chinese Embassy in Germany, and government officials from the German state of Bavaria attended the event, illustrating the high-level support for fostering stronger cultural and media relations.

Xing Bo, vice president of CMG, expressed the organization’s commitment to deepening cooperation with German partners. “CMG is willing to work hand-in-hand with friends from all walks of life in Germany to open up new chapters,” Xing stated. “We aim to act as a promoter of China-Germany’s prosperous development and share the opportunities brought about by China’s further comprehensive deepening of reforms.”

He also emphasized CMG’s willingness to enhance collaboration in joint productions, media events, and technological innovation. “We hope that audiences in both countries, especially the Generation Z audience, can share the beauty of Chinese and German cultures,” Xing added.

The event signifies a step forward in cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China and Germany, offering new opportunities for businesses, academics, and cultural enthusiasts in both nations.
