CMG Unveils 2024 Summer Cultural and Travel Projects Showcasing China’s Rich Heritage

The Chinese Global Program Center of China Media Group (CMG) announced its 2024 summer cultural and travel projects in Beijing on Wednesday, aiming to highlight China’s allure as a premier tourist destination to the global community.

Featuring 20 diverse projects, the initiative encompasses programs that delve into China’s vibrant culture, profound history, breathtaking tourist attractions, and delectable cuisine. These projects also aim to narrate the stories of China’s reform and opening up in the new era, alongside its journey toward modernization.

To enhance the travel experience for international visitors, CMG’s Chinese Global Program Center is working to increase awareness of China’s 144-hour visa-free transit policy. By partnering with cities where this policy is applicable and collaborating with the Network of International Culturalink Entities, they have established the “China Travel” new media section. This platform is designed to provide comprehensive travel services and foster cultural exchanges on an international scale.

“Our goal is to offer an immersive cultural experience that not only showcases China’s scenic wonders but also its modern advancements,” a CMG representative stated. “Through these projects, we hope to build bridges between cultures and invite the world to explore the depth and diversity of China.”

The 2024 summer initiative is expected to attract tourists, business professionals, academics, and cultural enthusiasts worldwide, providing them with unique insights into China’s dynamic role in global affairs and its rich tapestry of traditions and innovations.
