At the Wolong National Nature Reserve in China, joy fills the air as giant pandas celebrate their birthday season. On Friday, a special group birthday party was held for the pandas at the Shenshuping base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda.
Caretakers prepared enrichment toys, strung together carrots, sliced juicy watermelons, and offered other delicious treats to mark the occasion. The pandas, with their playful antics, delighted everyone present.
The breeding season for captive giant pandas occurs annually from July to September, coinciding with their birthday season. This period is filled with joy and warmth, not only for the pandas but also for their caretakers and visitors alike.
