Confucius Institutes Enhance Language Learning for Overseas Students

At the recent 10th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations in Qufu, Shandong Province, Blaise Thierree, President of the Confucius Institute in Brittany, France, highlighted the significant role of Confucius Institutes in enriching language education for children overseas.

“I think our institute has supported local public education systems and enriched the language learning possibilities for children,” Thierree stated.

Confucius Institutes have been established globally to promote Chinese language and culture. Thierree emphasized that these institutes not only teach language skills but also foster cultural exchange and mutual understanding between nations.

“Through language learning, students gain a deeper appreciation of different cultures, which is essential in our increasingly interconnected world,” he added.

The Confucius Institute in Brittany has been collaborating with local schools to offer Chinese language courses, enriching the curriculum and providing students with new opportunities.

The 10th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations brought together scholars and educators from around the world to discuss the importance of cultural dialogue and education in fostering global harmony.
