CMG Showcases AI Innovations at 24th ASBU Festival in Tunisia

The 24th Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) Radio and TV Festival concluded on Saturday in Tunis, spotlighting the transformative impact of artificial intelligence in media and communication. Over four days, media professionals and experts from across the Arab world gathered to explore AI applications and the future of broadcasting.

China Media Group (CMG), a member of the ASBU, made a significant impression by setting up a dedicated booth at the festival. Showcasing a variety of premium programs such as “Opportunity China – Decoding New Quality Productivity” and “AI and Classics,” CMG attracted widespread attention from Arab media and local attendees.

The booth featured Chinese dramas, documentaries, and animated series, promoting cultural exchange and offering insights into China’s media landscape. Key highlights included presentations on CMG’s “5G+4K/8K+AI” strategic plan and the innovative use of big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence in media practices.

CMG’s participation underscored the growing interest in China-Arab cooperation within the broadcasting sector. The festival provided a platform for CMG to demonstrate its advancements in media technology and to foster connections with Arab media organizations, paving the way for future collaborations.
