On the eve of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a grand symphony concert was held at the Museum of the CPC in Beijing. The event brought together approximately 800 attendees, including laureates of major national honorary medals and titles, outstanding CPC members working at the primary level, experts from various fields, and members of the public from all walks of life.
The concert featured over 20 musical pieces that reflected the CPC’s journey and achievements over the past century and more. Renowned orchestras and institutions such as the China National Symphony Orchestra, the China National Opera House, and the National Ballet of China participated in the performance, offering a rich and diverse musical experience.
Co-hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and China Media Group (CMG), the concert was a highlight of the commemorative activities marking the CPC’s anniversary. It is scheduled to be broadcast in prime time on CMG channels on Monday, allowing a wider audience to partake in the celebrations.
Since its inauguration in 2021, the Museum of the CPC has welcomed over 3.5 million visitors, including 550,000 young people, according to data released by the museum on Sunday. The institution has become a significant site for educating the public about the CPC’s history and ongoing endeavors.
The symphony concert not only celebrated the CPC’s founding anniversary but also showcased the rich cultural heritage and artistic talent present in the country. It served as a reminder of the transformative journey the CPC has led over the past century, highlighting achievements and inspiring future generations.
