China Institute in America Honors Chefs and Social Media Creators at Culinary Awards

The China Institute in America celebrated culinary excellence and cultural promotion by presenting its first-ever Culinary Center’s Annual Awards on Wednesday, June 12. The event honored three distinguished Chinese American master chefs and six social media creators dedicated to promoting authentic Chinese cuisine and culture.

In addition, the “Digital Icon Award” was bestowed upon six social media creators whose engaging content has heightened appreciation for Chinese cuisine and culture worldwide. Founded in New York City in 1926 by American educators John Dewey and Paul Monroe, alongside Chinese scholars Hu Shi and Kuo Ping-Wen, the China Institute in America is a renowned U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to deepening the world’s understanding of China. Through programs in art, business, culinary arts, culture, and education, the institute fosters cross-cultural connections and appreciation.
