Hong Kong's InnoEX and Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) opened this week, showcasing groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence and next-generation electronics. The twin expos, running through April 16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, bring together 2,800 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions.
This year's events feature over 100 seminars and product demonstrations, with Chinese mainland enterprises presenting smart city solutions alongside Hong Kong's fintech innovations. A dedicated zone highlights AI applications in healthcare and sustainable development, drawing attention from overseas investors and APEC member representatives.
"These expos solidify Hong Kong's role as Asia's innovation bridge," said Dr. Emily Wong, Commissioner for Innovation and Technology. "We're seeing unprecedented collaboration between mainland developers and international tech firms."
Notable exhibits include quantum computing prototypes and AI-driven climate modeling tools. Business matching sessions have already facilitated preliminary deals worth over $150 million, according to organizers.
