China has firmly rejected recent media reports alleging plans to supply weapons to Iran, with Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun calling the claims "groundless smears" during a press briefing on Monday. Guo emphasized that the Chinese mainland maintains strict controls on defense exports, operating in full compliance with domestic laws and international obligations.
