The 18 newly approved standards span intelligent connected vehicles, semiconductor devices, and BeiDou navigation chips, with a dedicated focus on BCI systems that merge human neural activity with machines. Eight additional standards address safety protocols for lithium-ion batteries and industrial power systems, reflecting growing demand for energy storage solutions amid rapid electrification trends.
Nineteen supplementary guidelines cover electromagnetics, nanotechnology, and communication equipment, providing technical frameworks to stabilize sector growth. Analysts suggest these measures will accelerate commercialization timelines while addressing global concerns about ethical AI and hardware reliability.
This regulatory package arrives as Chinese firms lead global patent filings in BCI applications, with domestic startups securing $2.3 billion in venture funding this year alone.
