Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the nation's busiest aviation gateway, expects to process approximately 95,000 daily inbound and outbound trips. Other key hubs including Beijing Capital International Airport and Chengdu's Tianfu International Airport are implementing crowd management measures to handle increased passenger volumes.
Regional Connectivity Strengthened
Land ports near Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions anticipate particularly heavy traffic, with Shenzhen's Luohu Port forecast to manage 250,000 daily crossings. The surge includes returning residents from Hong Kong, Macao, and the Taiwan region, along with overseas Chinese visiting ancestral homes for traditional tomb-sweeping ceremonies.
