China's scientific community marked a milestone this week as the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) revealed its groundbreaking 'Engineering Fronts 2025' report during the opening of the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum in Beijing. The comprehensive study identifies 189 critical innovation pathways across nine key sectors, offering a roadmap for global technological advancement.
CAE President Li Xiaohong presented the findings to an international audience of scientists, policymakers, and industry leaders.
