The 2026 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference commenced today in Hainan Province, bringing together global leaders to address Asia's evolving economic landscape. Secretary General Zhang Jun outlined preparations during a press conference in Boao, revealing this year's theme: "Shaping a Shared Future: New Dynamics, New Opportunities, New Cooperation."

Two flagship reports released today analyze Asia's economic trajectory and sustainable development progress, offering critical insights for policymakers and investors. The forum, running through March 27, will host 2,000 delegates from over 60 countries and regions, with 1,100 journalists providing global coverage.
