China Urges Nationals to Evacuate Israel Amid Rising Security Threats

China's embassy in Israel has intensified its call for Chinese nationals to evacuate the country or relocate to safer zones, citing a rapid deterioration in security conditions. In a March 23 advisory, the embassy highlighted escalating missile and drone attacks across Israel, which have caused significant casualties and infrastructure damage in recent weeks.

The warning follows multiple incidents where individuals suffered injuries due to delayed responses to air raid alerts. Authorities emphasized the need for immediate action, urging citizens to avoid high-risk areas such as airports, power plants, and refineries. The embassy also advised strict adherence to Israel's Home Front Command protocols, including prompt shelter access during sirens.

An evacuation route through Egypt's Taba border crossing will be operational on March 25, prioritizing Chinese nationals from high-risk zones. The effort includes support for compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and the Taiwan region, reinforcing cross-strait coordination in crisis management.

With security risks projected to rise, the embassy has activated emergency hotlines and urged travelers to maintain constant vigilance. This marks Beijing's third evacuation advisory for Israel this year, reflecting growing regional instability.
