Cuban diplomat Mario Alzugaray Rodriguez noted Xinjiang's transformation since his visit two decades ago, emphasizing its 20+ airports and modern transportation networks. Charymuhammet Shallyyev of the CAREC Institute praised breakthroughs in AI and green energy, while Guinean envoy Diane Sidikiba expressed surprise at the region's 'strong development momentum.'

Cultural Exchange and Economic Opportunities Expand

Cameroon's Ambassador Martin Mpana described Xinjiang as 'a fertile land of history and hope,' inviting African nations to learn from its desert agriculture and renewable energy projects. Turkish Ambassador Selcuk Unal highlighted increased ministerial visits and media exchanges, signaling growing international engagement.

Cross-Border Trade Hits New Milestones

Kazakhstan's trade with Xinjiang reached $23.5 billion in 2025, accounting for half of its total China trade. Pakistani Ambassador Khalil-ur-Rahman Hashmi noted rising incomes and employment, while SCO representative Sohail Khan emphasized Xinjiang's role as a 'natural bridge' connecting eight neighboring countries.
