The German session of the "China in Springtime: China's Development Opportunities for the World" global dialogue concluded successfully in Düsseldorf on March 17, 2026, fostering cross-sector discussions on economic collaboration and cultural exchange. Co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG) and the Chinese Consulate General in Düsseldorf, the event brought together over 100 representatives from politics, business, academia, and media.
Shen Haixiong, Vice Minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and CMG President, emphasized in a video address that "China's commitment to shared global prosperity remains unwavering." Chinese Consul General Yu Yong highlighted opportunities in green energy and digital innovation, while Rainer Schmeltzer, First Vice President of North Rhine-Westphalia's State Parliament, praised the region's deepening industrial partnerships with the Chinese mainland.
"Events like these are vital to translating dialogue into actionable progress," said Julia Jacob, First Deputy Mayor of Essen, underscoring the forum's practical focus.
