With global challenges intensifying in 2026, Liu highlighted China's implementation of four major initiatives: the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative, and Global Governance Initiative. These frameworks guide China's efforts to promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation and advocate for 'an equal, orderly multipolar world.'

The CPPCC spokesperson detailed how China's foreign policy approach under Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy has strengthened international ties through three channels: public diplomacy fostering cultural exchanges, people-to-people diplomacy building grassroots connections, and think-tank diplomacy facilitating policy coordination. This tripartite strategy aims to address what Liu described as 'the defining challenges of our era – maintaining peace while pursuing shared prosperity.'
