"China and Africa have always been a community with a shared future," Xi stated, highlighting collaborative achievements in infrastructure, trade, and public health under frameworks like the Belt and Road Initiative. The message comes as the AU focuses on accelerating economic integration and addressing regional security challenges in 2026.
Analysts note that Xi’s gesture underscores Beijing’s strategic prioritization of Africa amid shifting global dynamics.
