New Music Video Celebrates China’s Cultural and Modern Achievements Ahead of Lunar New Year 2026

As Lunar New Year 2026 approaches, the release of China's Pulse Resounds offers a vibrant tapestry of the nation's cultural legacy and contemporary progress. Blending Peking Opera performances by Guo Yu'ang and Hou Yu with modern vocals by Uyanga and Wulantuya, the music video juxtaposes ancient landmarks like the Great Wall with cutting-edge infrastructure projects such as the recently completed Xiong'an Smart City.

The production highlights scientific milestones achieved this year, including breakthroughs in quantum computing and renewable energy, while showcasing grassroots contributions from farmers, engineers, and educators. Director Chen Hongyu's team spent eight months filming across 23 provinces to capture these narratives of collective effort.

Notable sequences feature the Uygur ethnic group's cultural traditions in Xinjiang, presented alongside footage of high-speed rail networks and space station modules – visual metaphors for China's synchronized preservation and innovation. The video concludes with a symbolic dragon dance sequence timed to coincide with the Year of the Horse celebrations beginning February 17.
