China's economy expanded by 5.0% in 2025, according to data released Monday by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), demonstrating resilience amid global economic headwinds. The growth aligns with Beijing's target for "high-quality development" and marks the third consecutive year of stable recovery since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Analysts attribute the performance to robust manufacturing output and a rebound in domestic consumption, particularly in green energy and advanced technology sectors.
