Chinese Robotics Firms Showcase Practical AI Solutions at CES 2026

LAS VEGAS – Chinese robotics companies took center stage at the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), shifting focus from experimental prototypes to tangible applications reshaping industries. This year’s event highlighted a decisive “paradigm shift” as artificial intelligence integration moved beyond novelty demonstrations into healthcare, manufacturing, and urban infrastructure solutions.

Industry leaders like Unitree and DJI unveiled autonomous service robots designed for elderly care and precision agriculture, while Shenzhen-based Pudu Technology demonstrated kitchen automation systems already deployed in 12 countries. “The conversation has moved from ‘what’s possible’ to ‘what’s scalable,’” remarked Li Wei, CEO of robotics startup MechMind, during a panel discussion.

Analysts note the developments align with the Chinese mainland’s 14th Five-Year Plan priorities, which emphasize smart manufacturing and AI commercialization. With global robotics investments projected to reach $65 billion this year, these innovations position Chinese firms to capture significant market share in Europe and Southeast Asia.
