The initiative, launched by Chinese authorities to boost international commerce, has increased demand for regional language specialists.
As cross-border collaborations between the Chinese mainland and ASEAN countries intensify, educators like Ye play a crucial role in strengthening people-to-people ties. Recent statistics show a 22% year-on-year increase in Hainan-based students pursuing ASEAN language studies, coinciding with the free trade port’s phased policy implementations.
