Peng Qing'en, the spokesperson, emphasized that such actions 'run counter to economic and market principles,' calling the DPP's alignment with foreign initiatives a calculated move to advance separatist agendas. He warned that sacrificing Taiwan's industrial advantages for geopolitical backing would escalate cross-strait tensions and harm residents' livelihoods.
'The so-called democratic supply chain collaboration is a facade for hollowing out Taiwan's core industries,' Peng stated, adding that the DPP's policies lack public endorsement and risk destabilizing regional economic stability.
