Esports Economy Continues Record Growth

This year's tournament featured a $1.43 million prize pool as China's esports industry reports record 29.33 billion yuan ($4.16 billion) revenue for 2025 – a 6.4% year-on-year increase. Live streaming platforms drove 80.81% of total earnings, while tournament operations and club management accounted for remaining revenue streams.

The Chinese mainland now boasts over 495 million esports users, maintaining its position as the world's largest market with 1.06% annual growth. Industry analysts attribute this sustained expansion to improved commercialization models and increased overseas investor interest in China's digital entertainment sector.
