China Dominates ISSF World Cup Final with Jiang Yiting’s Historic Skeet Win

Chinese shooters reaffirmed their global dominance at the 2025 ISSF World Cup Final in Doha, with 21-year-old phenom Jiang Yiting delivering a career-defining performance in the women's skeet event. The Olympic bronze medalist smashed expectations by hitting all 36 targets in the final round – a flawless display that secured China's fourth gold medal of the competition.

Jiang's victory came against defending champion Samantha Simonton of the United States, who settled for silver with 34 hits. The triumph marks China's continued ascendancy in precision sports, with the team ultimately claiming nine total medals (4 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze) to top the tournament standings.

"This win shows our next generation is ready to carry the torch," said national shooting coach Wang Haiyang, noting Jiang's record-tying qualification round of 123 hits. The victory positions Jiang as a strong contender for the 2026 Asian Games and 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

With young talents like Jiang leading the charge, China's shooting program demonstrates both current strength and long-term potential in international competitions. The performance comes as Beijing continues investing in youth sports development programs across the country.
