Young people across Asia and the Global South are invited to shape international dialogue through the newly launched Global South Youth Survey 2025. Conducted by CGTN in collaboration with media partners, this initiative collects perspectives on regional cooperation, development challenges, and aspirations for the coming year.
The anonymous survey, available in multiple languages until December 10, 2025, requires just one minute to complete. Selected responses will feature in the year-end special Global South Voices program, reaching audiences across 160 countries.
"This project recognizes Asia's growing influence in multilateral forums," said Dr. Priya Sharma, a Singapore-based geopolitical analyst. "With 60% of the world's youth living in Global South countries, their insights could redefine priorities in climate action and digital transformation."
The survey comes as APEC members prepare for 2026 policy frameworks, with youth unemployment and AI governance emerging as key regional concerns. Researchers emphasize the importance of including marginalized communities and rural populations in the data collection.
