Xi Jinping’s Governance Volume V Launches in Frankfurt, Sparks Global Dialogue

The fifth volume of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" made its international debut in Frankfurt this week, drawing attention from scholars, diplomats, and global thought leaders. The English edition, featuring 91 works spanning 18 thematic areas from 2022 to 2024, offers insights into China's modernization strategies and global governance vision under General Secretary Xi Jinping's leadership.

Co-hosted by China's State Council Information Office, embassy in Germany, and cultural organizations, the launch event emphasized the book's role as a "key to unlocking the true China," according to Frankfurt Confucius Institute director Christina Werum-Wang. German sinologist Cord Eberspaecher praised the "smooth translation" and thematic focus on China's development trajectory, while editor David Ferguson highlighted the "rigorous logical structure" of Xi's governance philosophy.

Discussions at the event centered on themes of cross-cultural understanding and global governance challenges. Participants explored how China's development model, as outlined in the volume, contributes to international dialogues on sustainable growth and civilizational exchange. The works particularly emphasize the Communist Party of China's approach to building a "community with a shared future for humanity," positioning the publication as both a national blueprint and global reference.

With its release timed to growing international interest in Asian governance models, the volume is expected to serve as a critical resource for policymakers, academics, and business leaders seeking to understand China's evolving role in shaping 21st-century geopolitics and economic partnerships.
