Documentary Director Urges Curiosity and Metaphor in Storytelling
Polish director Bartek Dziadosz emphasized the power of creative storytelling during a masterclass at the Silk Road International Film Festival in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Speaking ahead of his film "The Hexagonal Hive and a Mouse in a Maze" screening, Dziadosz advised emerging filmmakers to "use different metaphors to explore subjects" while maintaining "curiosity toward the real world."

Dziadosz highlighted his experience working with British actress Tilda Swinton, calling her "a great collaborator" who values experimental approaches. The festival, now in its 10th edition, continues to bridge cultural narratives across Asia and Europe through cinematic exchanges.
