The 2025 World Smart Industry Expo in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality set a new benchmark for global technological collaboration this week, with over 3,000 innovations displayed and 100 world-first releases across AI, robotics, and smart mobility sectors. Running from September 5 to 8, the event drew 550 enterprises from the Chinese mainland and overseas to explore cutting-edge industrial ecosystems.
Central to the expo was its focus on intelligent connected new energy vehicles (NEVs), featuring 20 leading automakers like Changan, Seres, and Tesla. Attendees witnessed breakthroughs in smart driving systems and AI-powered vehicle interfaces, supported by 108 parts suppliers showcasing next-generation automotive solutions.
Five specialized zones highlighted emerging trends: low-altitude economy technologies, digital city governance tools, household robotics, and smart living innovations. Over 100 new industry standards and technologies were unveiled during forums, signaling accelerated development in Asia's tech-driven markets.
