Lawmakers explored Ili's Kazanqi Folk Tourism District and Liuxing Street, where Uygur, Kazakh, and Russian influences converge. A visit to a local Kazakh family's grapevine-covered courtyard provided firsthand experience of nomadic hospitality, while an accordion museum and Russian-style cultural street showcased the region's artistic heritage.

Cosmin-Ioan Corendea, Vice President of the Foreign Policy Committee at Romania's Chamber of Deputies, described Xinjiang as "a wonderfully familiar" cultural crossroads. "This sense of connection across traditions truly embodies multicultural beauty," he observed, reflecting on the delegation's interactions with local communities.
