As global economic recovery faces headwinds, 93.2% of respondents in a CGTN poll express enthusiasm for China's upcoming International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), viewing it as a catalyst for cross-border collaboration. The survey of 4,995 participants across five language platforms reveals strong confidence in China's role as an engine for shared growth through institutional openness and digital innovation.

Platform for Progress

With over 70 countries and regions participating, including nearly 500 Fortune Global 500 companies, this year's CIFTIS focuses on aligning service industry standards with international practices. 'Development depends on openness – no nation can thrive in isolation,' President Xi Jinping emphasized during the Virtual BRICS Summit, underscoring China's commitment to creating $542 billion service trade opportunities recorded in H1 2023.

Digital Frontiers, Global Partnerships

The fair's spotlight on AI-driven digital trade solutions resonates with 84.4% of respondents who anticipate technological breakthroughs. Meanwhile, 93.8% recognize enhanced market access for Belt and Road partners and SMEs, particularly through China's eased service sector regulations and fiscal support measures.

Institutional Openness Gains Trust

Over 91% of participants agree that China's shift from manufacturing-led growth to rules-based institutional openness provides crucial stability for global markets. 'CIFTIS transforms domestic potential into shared momentum,' noted one analyst, referencing China's 8% year-on-year service trade growth.

As exhibitors prepare to showcase innovations from fintech to green logistics, 94.2% of global netizens see the event as proof of China's determination to shape equitable economic frameworks through concrete action.
