Xin received the Golden Lion trophy from fellow Chinese actress Zhao Tao, a jury member, during Saturday's ceremony. In her emotional acceptance speech, she emphasized the significance of her win for Chinese cinema: "Standing here as a Chinese actress fills me with immense pride."
