Xi'an, the ancient capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, will welcome global leaders and business minds for the 2025 Euro-Asia Economic Forum from September 23-25. With the theme 'Unleashing New Synergies in Eurasia, Co-Building a New Pattern for Sustainable Development,' the event aims to reshape cross-continental collaboration amid evolving economic landscapes.
Event Highlights
Organizers announced 13 sub-forums addressing industrial capacity cooperation, technological innovation, and cultural exchange, alongside over 10 economic trade activities. A key outcome will be the release of a white paper analyzing Eurasian economic trends under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Global Participation
The forum will gather representatives from Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states, Belt and Road partners, and international organizations. Ambassadors, corporate leaders, and scholars are expected to discuss sustainable development models and regional governance frameworks.
First held in 2005, this biennial forum enters its 11th edition with joint organizers including the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and SCO Secretariat. Xi'an's selection underscores its growing role as a hub for China-Central Asia connectivity.
