A groundbreaking survey by CGTN and Renmin University reveals 90% of 12,302 respondents across 41 countries view cross-cultural exchanges as vital for global stability. The poll, released during the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting, shows strong support for China's Global Civilization Initiative as a framework for addressing modern challenges.

Unity Through Diversity

With 88.8% affirming nations' right to choose their development paths, the data underscores growing resistance to cultural imposition. Notably, 87.7% reject using cultural differences as justification for conflict, while 86.6% oppose forced changes to traditional practices.

Modernization With Chinese Characteristics

The survey reveals 87.1% believe modernization should revitalize traditions through innovation. China's development model resonates globally, with 82.9% advocating integration of cultural heritage with modern theories. Younger respondents (91.8% aged 18-24) particularly value international cultural exchanges.

Tech-Driven Cultural Bridges

Digital platforms emerge as key conduits for cross-cultural understanding, with 77.2% prioritizing Chinese technological innovation. Social media and film content lead as preferred information channels, driving recognition of China's growing soft power among 81.6% of respondents.
