Global Creators Invited to Spotlight China-Latin America Ties
The China Public Diplomacy Association has launched its third annual short video competition, themed 'Development and Revitalization: A Shared Destiny,' inviting filmmakers from the Chinese mainland and Latin America-Caribbean nations to showcase cross-cultural connections through creative storytelling.
Participants can submit 30- to 180-second videos until July 31 through social media platforms using the hashtag #BeyondBoundariesBond. Winning entries will highlight cultural exchanges, economic cooperation, and people-to-people bonds between China and LAC countries.
'This contest builds digital bridges across oceans,' said a program coordinator. 'We want to see how creators visualize our interconnected development goals through personal stories and innovative cinematography.'
Selected finalists will attend an awards ceremony in Beijing, with winning works promoted through diplomatic channels and international media partnerships. Last year's edition received over 8,000 submissions from 22 countries and regions.
