Reflecting on progress since the 2023 Xi'an Vision, President Xi highlighted a 35% surge in bilateral trade and breakthroughs in green energy, digital infrastructure, and agricultural exchanges. "The six pomegranate trees we planted together now bloom vibrantly," he said, symbolizing growing ties among the six nations.
Five-Point Roadmap
The speech outlined concrete measures to deepen cooperation:
- Legal Foundations: Signing a landmark treaty on eternal good-neighborliness
- Economic Priorities: Designating 2025-2026 as Years of High-Quality Development
- Security Cooperation: Launching joint counterterrorism initiatives and cybersecurity projects
- Cultural Bridges: Expanding educational exchanges through new university branches and language programs
- Global Governance: Advocating multipolar world order at upcoming UN anniversary events
New Cooperation Mechanisms
China announced three specialized centers for poverty reduction, education, and desertification control, alongside a 1.5 billion yuan grant for regional development projects. Over 3,000 training opportunities will be offered to Central Asian professionals by 2027.
As freight trains crisscross the Eurasian steppe and sister cities reach 100 pairs, President Xi emphasized: "Our path widens steadily, our friendship blooms brighter. Together, we write history through mutual benefit."
