China, UAE Strengthen Strategic Partnership in High-Level Talks

China's top diplomat Wang Yi met with Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, special envoy of the UAE president, in Beijing on Wednesday, signaling deepened cooperation between the two nations. Wang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized the 'sound development momentum' of bilateral relations under the strategic guidance of both countries' leaders.

Wang reiterated China's commitment to mutual support on core interests and expanding collaboration across trade, technology, and energy sectors. He highlighted the importance of aligning policies on regional security and multilateral platforms to advance the China-UAE comprehensive strategic partnership.

Al Mubarak affirmed the UAE's dedication to strengthening high-level exchanges and adhering to the one-China principle, underscoring Abu Dhabi's support for Beijing's sovereignty claims. Both sides pledged to enhance coordination on global governance reforms and economic initiatives, reflecting shared priorities in an evolving geopolitical landscape.
